The disclosure
SpicyRank participates in affiliate programmes. When you subscribe to a creator or platform through certain links on this site, we may receive a commission or a share of revenue. You never pay more because of it — commissions come out of the platform’s or creator’s side, not yours.
What it influences
Which creators can appear at all. We can only list creators whose authorised representatives have cleared them for third-party listing. That is a real constraint on coverage and we would rather say so than pretend the directory is exhaustive.
What it does not influence
Order. The ranking formula has no commission input. Two creators with identical activity profiles rank identically regardless of what their links pay us. We do not sell placement and there is no rate card.
Why we put this on every page
Because the standard practice — one line of grey text in a footer — is technically compliant and practically useless. If the economics of a site affect how you read it, and they do, you should be told where you are reading, not where a lawyer decided to file it.
